Want to mount an Acuity or Hybrid Racing shifter into your Accord/mid-gen Prelude? Once again, we have a bolt in answer to your problem!  We have come up with a solution for the installation of the shifter.  With some very small slotting on the rear of your shifter holes, you will line up for a low profile, bolt-in installation.  With our installation kit, we provide washers to match the thickness of the forward mounting plate – ensuring your install is 100% flat and level.  Replace your worn out brass sleeved rubber push-in bushing shifter and bolt in new technology – getting rid of 20 years’ worth of wear from the OEM shift assembly.

Our kit was designed to fit CB Accords (90-93), CD Accords (94-97), CE Accords (94-97), and BB Preludes (92-96).

The Adapter Kit comes in one flavor since mounting is a snap for the Acuity units.

 

Forward Mounting Plate and Rear Washers

Our plates are waterjetted from a solid sheet of 3/16″ 5052 aluminum for both strength and resistance to rusting. Our plate has two 10mm bolts to locate the shifter, and two 12mm to hold it securely in place once positioned in your car.  Included in the kit is the plate with the FFC logo laser cut in place, and all class 10.9 or 12.9 (8mm bolts, zinc coated washers, thread locking nuts) hardware required to properly secure your shifter at the forward mounting position.  The washers included for the rear mounting are Grade 10.9 coated washers and a pair of 8mm bolts.  There is some slotting of the shifter required as the holes are very close – approximately 4mm per hole.

Tired of noxious fumes invading your interior?  Instead of chopping up your OEM cables and using 20 year old rubber, we have found a closed cell foam that compresses when installed, can be cut to shape, and is flame retardant, oil resistant, and restricts water, air, and gases from being absorbed.  It starts out .500” thick and will compress down to 25% of its original thickness.  Our plates for the cables are also waterjetted from a solid sheet of 3/16″ 5052 aluminum for those same rust inhibiting and strength properties.  This plate can be mounted from inside the car (underneath the OEM radio stack), or from underneath the car in the OEM position.  This option will include the plate itself, a square of foam to trim and fit to your liking, and two replacement class 10.9 6mm bolts to hold it in place.
